She woke up, from a dreadful nightmare and rushed towards bathroom, splashing some cold drops of water on her face, hurried taking a shower and wore some simple suit. A white one with rose embroidery on it and pretty lace in dupatta.

Then I quickly walked towards the kitchen to prepare the breakfast.

I washed the dishes then my stepmom who I called miss, wasn't even allowed to call her maa or anything entered giving me a disgusted look.

Taunting me “ Aaj kahi jana hai kya jo itna saji savri ho? Sochna bhi mat kyuki aaj hume shaam ko party mein jana hai, kha na mat banana, or humare aane se pehle so jana warna tumhe pata hi hai ki main kya karungi ”

She taunted me, I. wanted to speak for myself but i couldn't words were stuck inside my mouth. I wanted to scream but i couldn't. I simply nodded and again started to do my work. I was only 16 while I was doing all this.

I was angry on her but i couldn't do anything, I just kept glancing at her, repeatedly until she noticed and spat.

“ ye aankhe kise dikha rahi ho hai? " She spat and grabbed my hair, I winced in pain saying.

“ n-nahi miss main aapko nhi dekh r - rahi th-thi ” but my words didn't mattered in front of her .

“ juth mat bolo , mujhe sab pata hai samjhi? Ruko abhi tum ” she spoke and grabbed my hand and placed it on hot burning stove, I screamed crazily but she didn't left ,.

“ Now tell me will you stare at me? ” she said and i shook my head left and right.

She left my hand and slapped me across my face, and left saying.

“ crazy bitch, huh she was staring at me? ” going away.

“ the breakfast should be done in five minutes ” she shouted and i said.

“okay miss” and with that i started to continue.

I woke up from the sunrays flashing on my eyes and checked my phone.

My p.a messaged me saying for the meeting with Mr Rajput.

I quickly got up from my bed and went to shower.

After coming back, I wore my clothes, tie and watch wrapping it around my wrist.

After that i went outside, I took blessing from grandma. And went to eat my breakfast.

Even though the topic of marriage was brought by my grandma but i didn't thought about it yet.

I had no interest in it, then after eating my breakfast, I took my car keys and went to my office enjoying the peaceful breeze of air. ..
